A Supervisor is a member of the Management Team and understands the Company’s overall objectives. The Supervisor assists and supports the Store Manager in establishing strategies and processes that will drive positive results. Participates in hiring, recruiting, training, and development of staff. The Supervisor implements and executes action plans within areas of responsibilities while being global. Through delegating of responsibilities, the Supervisor cultivates teamwork and partnerships. As part of the Management Team, effectively contributes to achieving financial goals and meeting overall statistical expectations.

Essential duties & Responsibilities:

Business and Financial Results

  1. Helps achieve the Store’s financial goals and budget through identifying growth opportunities within DOR (Division of Responsibilities)
  2. Drives daily, weekly, and monthly sales through maximizing key performance indicators (AT, Units, Transactions, Conversion)
  3. Supports day-to-day functional/departmental activities that drive positive results
  4. Actively participates in efforts to reduce in-store shrinkage activity through Loss Prevention education, awareness, compliance, and measures
  5. Helps increase/maintain gross margin through full price sell-through
  6. Monitors daily and weekly sales, effectively utilizes reports to analyze the store’s business, and completes weekly business report

Leadership and Employee Development

       1. Leads and inspires a customer-centric culture by motivating/recognizing team
       2. Provides consistent coaching, participates in identifying/developing talent
       3. Identifies training needs and helps develop training plans to address these needs
       4. Learns, understands, and practices high level of business acumen to positively affect statistical outcomes
       5. Communicates effectively with all stores, departments, and business partners

Management and Operating Results

  1. Actively involved in the implementation of the company’s initiatives
  2. Upholds and enforces all policies and procedures
  3. Actively maintains the highest level of store standards
  4. Responds and reacts to all communication in a timely manner

Customer Experience

  1. Drives the customer experience from the specific Division of Responsibility perspective
  2. Communicates consumer feedback and in-store trends through proper channels
  3. Identifies and communicates customer feedback to upper management

Individual Development

  1. Focuses on an area of responsibility that represents a special interest or need for further development
  2. Creates an action plan to achieve optimum performance
  3. Assesses/measures results quarterly

Requirements:
  1. 1-2 years experience in supervisory or key-holder role (coaching, training and motivating teams)
  2. 1+ year driving sales through KPS (conversion, units, transactions, AT) and reading sales reports
  3. 1+ year supporting daily operations, policy compliance, loss prevention and visual/store standards
  4. 1+ year delivering a customer-first experience while supporting margin and financial goals
  5. High school diploma or equivalent
  6. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, night and holidays
  7. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time and be able to lift 50 lbs
  8. Must pass background check prior to being interviewed
